I think what you really need to do Soaring, is convince your teacher that Gundam card model construction IS a science project, then you won't have so many issues with time. Call him now, ask him what he thinks, tell him jaffro needs to know. Report back here after the phone call.

Thanks for the comments guys, this model is sortof on hold while i concentrate on the Daring but i still find some time to spend on it every now and then. Progress has slowed because I somewhat botched the build order and have built myself into a corner when it comes to getting the wheels...

That could explain why over here on the other side of the world we appear to be heading into an early winter. :D

I can still honestly say I have absolutely no interest in Gundam or any anime for that matter, but wow... some of the work you guys are doing, not just here but in various other gundam related threads, is amazing the pants off me. (try not to get a mental image of that, this is a family forum...

The props are on hold until I can find some gold paint or something to paint my pencil bullet thingies. In the mean time, I should really be designing the superstructures etc but I really had no idea where to start. Once again, I am very pleased to say that barry has come to the rescue...

The game "Supreme Commander" has submarine carriers, and the last time I played it I was pretty impressed at how many planes I could fit inside one before sneaking it into an enemy harbour :D Some of the game models might make for some decent cardmodels, who knows.

I had to use 2 cans of spraypaint to get my Daring hull to look like that, but yours still looks way better... awesome stuff!

I have no idea how these gundam things go together, I have no skill in model design, least of all poseable models.... but I thought i'd throw a few ideas into the "poseable joints" discussion. I should also add I have no idea what your joints look like or if my ideas would apply to them...

Flu, It was one of your build threads (the Huey) that first brought me to this forum and inspired me to sign up.... your builds are still inspiring me every day, I love your work, awesome stuff.... thanks for sharing it with us.
