Wow barry, that's looking awesome... not much progress to report on my end, the deadline has been lifted so I'm not rushing it anymore. Still tempted to start a new hull, but the first one is still holding up reasonably well.

Another miniature masterpiece from barry! This Tarawa is shaping up to be the best aircraft carrier cardmodels out there, not only a great looking ship model, but the details you're adding with all the support vehicles etc are truly outstanding.

Watching that viper take shape is like watching a dream come true right before my eyes... awesome job so far, keep it up! :thumb:

Thank you both for dragging this thread out of the ashes, I've been looking at the nearly finished Interceptor gathering dust on the shelf, thinking it's time to finish it off. I am slowly regaining more spare time after starting a new job recently so it won't be long now before I can get back...

If you really want a challenge, try the crane truck or excavator by Chreiss / Nosports :D His models are high up on my build list, but they still scare me...

This is looking way better than I ever expected this model to look... a lot of the canon "work" vehicles tend to look a bit cartoonish with those unglazed windows, good idea to take them out, I'll be more inclined to build this one myself now that I've seen what can be done with a bit of extra...
