Howdy all! Some time back, there was a post mentioning a Polish site that had detailed card tracks for various armour models. I am looking for a set of tracks for an IS-2. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Jim

Moving Right Along Again: With the hull details largely(but not completely) finished, the EL mechanism is installed. The hull gets another coat, and the sliding doors are test-fitted.

We start painting... The first of a couple of coats of Tamiya Russian Armour Green is being applied. Typiically, I'll put the first coat on with a large brush so as to get into all of the nooks, crannies and glue joints. I'll finish with an airbrush later. Slowly but surely, the model...

The jacks are now all in place. To tighten up the fit of the jacks into the brass tubes, I wrapped the ends of the jack pistons with aluminum foil, secured with CA Glue.

Adding Bits to the Hull I am adding grab irons, tow hooks and other "naughty bits" to the hull, using #20 copper wire. All major openings will be fully functional.

SS21 with Primer Paint Here is a shot of the Tochka missile, in its primer paint coats. Segments have been outlined with a black drawing pen. The paddle-shaped structures are steering vanes.
