Pins for D13 SR I recived this E mail from NEC. I just put pin one to one and two to two etc. It works execpt when the engine is in reverce the rear lights don't come on. Oh well at least there was no smoke. If i understand what you are looking for is the 8-pin plug configuration? orange 1...

HO TLights Here is the drawings I made to make HO traffic lights , some day. Its hard to measure the real ones, so this is as close as I could get to the actual dimentions. I couldent fine the actual dementions on the net.

Bachmann message board Jon, On Bachmann's web page they have a message board. I posted the question there and got a quick responce. THey claim pin one goes to pin one and pin two to pin two etc. However the D13SR decoder they suggest does not have a connector or the pins labled for that...

Can anyone tell me how to install a NEC D13SR in a Bachmann F40PH? The engine has what I assume is an 8 pin DCC plug, but no diagram explaing what each pin is connected to. Bachmann is not answering my question. :curse:

What for! I have no need for such a button. My trains never derail or crash! I am also part owner of a bridge in NYC that runs between Manhattan and Brooklyn, could I interest you in some options on it? Those buttons aren't cheap, thats some friend.:eek:

I took this picture of an NJT train putting down ballast. Are theses speical hoppers? If you zoom in you can the shoots on the side.

If you go with the CTI system the computer can't be to old. The computer must have two free com. ports. I used an old 486 with a serial mouse. But, evean though I added an extra Serial port card there were conflicts with the mouse. DOS can only acess ttwo com ports at one time.:cry:

I will be no help! Well I am new to DCC, but you should be able to adjust the engines behavior. I havent done this my self, but the Northcoast decoders have a lot of info on changing speed tables. It looks like a lot of trial and error to get it right.
