    AHM/Riverossi Wheelsets?

http://www.golfmanorhobbies.com/ However, before you try them, I may have some in my wheel box. Could you post a pic of what you need? Golf Manor is the only source of Rivarossi parts I know of. They bought out the parts inventory when Rivarossi went belly up. I've dealt with them...

Oldies but Goodies. The Old Stuff.

Beautiful piece there, TrainNut. It looks like a PFM/United Sierra #38. I have an ad on my Photobucket page. Did it ever have a trailing truck? That old open frame motor would spank any DCC chip---and most modern transformers--- like a bad school boy, they just don't make buzzers like that...

You probably know them by another term---FRED Flashing Rear End Device---the little box mounted on the coupler at the end of trains now.

    Is this NORMAL?

I do a lot of this type modifying as I prefer the cheaper locos over the expensive (simple economics and the joy of twisting heads at a train show with a Tyco "Golden Eagle" C 630 that can pull 25 cars:mrgreen:). I've found that flattening lead sinkers and applying them directly over the...
