I did not like Tapatalk version. This one lookes very good and user-friendly. It is a pity, that many photos are gone, but as Zathros said - nothing can bring them back. So concentrate on the new forum and the great and very helpful people which are the heart of this forum.

It was a long time on my to do list. When starting builing paper models it looked to difficult to me. Today I was able to finalize it. - No problems during building thanks to the detailed description.

Thanks to all for the cheering words and many thanks again to the helping comments, which guided me and where I got hints how to fix my problems resp. which parts are not in correct shape.

Final assembly done. Summary: very detailed model - good instruction. Model quality: 5 from 5 Difficulty: 3,5 from 5 See final pics. And my other favourite star wars models.

Thats exact the way it is. Cut all three and curl it into shape. Next parts prepared....

Next parts. I had to adjust the front end of the stick to be able to wrap the paper around the stick completely. Used my knife and a file. ————— At the moment I am not sure how to build part 15. Cut? Fold? Any ideas?

Test build finalized with errors - see picture. (fast build just to check the placement of the parts) @ Pattern - they are on the other side of the cannon - and I will send a picture when I will make the cannons again.

Got it so far. Made some mistakes. Therefore it is good that I made the test build. Part 13 -short time a mystery. But then found out. Cut it. see picture.

First parts done and I can agree what Dagger mentioned. Although the parts are made of thin paper I plan to give some parts a thicker layer. Especially the end parts of the tubes where applicable.

Based on the small parts I decided to make a test to be sure to avoid mistakes. Most parts are on thin paper, only few are made of thicker paper, which was also one of the reasons for a testbuild. Never worked with thin paper before. (Beside adding an additional layer to a part.) Here first...

All 4 wings finalized. Next problem/topic is to place them in a moveable position. And then the lasers. Hmm....checking the parts I think they are going to be difficult. Will see.
