    Union Pacific Modelers...

Man, UP needs an engine wash here in south Texas. These two engines look like they got rained on by acid rain. It shows just how much these EMD engines can take. Sorry for the crappy pictures, im using my cell phone hehe. Maybe someday i'll add scenery when I get around to building a layout.

    BNSF modelers!

Heres my four cents. The Warbonnet painting will always be remembered in the railroad world. One of the few differences in the Dash 8 and Dash 9 locomotives, the nose hand rails. one of my dirty Snoots. And one of my favorite locomotives, an SD40-2 that I am detailing. Ive added sunshades, nose...

    Bachmann Service

I love the newer version of the Dash 8 locomotives from BMann. How do those engines perform, along with the new SD45, in HO scale? Im wondering if the quality is the same as my N Scale engines.

    Question for detailers

Sup errone. Im wondering what is the best filler you guys use on your models. Lets say you are adding some BLMA or GMM details such as grab irons, and you accidentally make the hole in the wrong place. What I have used for a while is Testors clear plastic cement, push it from the inside of the...

    Let's Talk Couplers

All of them. Even dummy couplers. I have a large fleet of locomotives and rolling stock with all kinds of different knuckle couplers. Ive never had any problem with uncoupling. I do try to stay away from the accumate couplers though because they are not as "tall" as the micro trains.

FYI on a Photo Op at KC Union Station...

Does this mean that the TFM locomotives will be painted like this too? or just the KCS ones?

April 14th - Working on the Railroad?

Awesome. I wont know which one to choose though cause they're all good. Can I be first to choose? Because then everyone else will choose theirs and there wont be any left for me  and yeah, the 200 million dollar thingie. heck, even like 50 million dollars. I would be happy with just ONE

What's Your Favorite Style of Diesel?

hey, what does that other 1 out of 10 engineers surveyed say? Out of curiosity, since ive never been on a locomotive.

What's Your Favorite Style of Diesel?

I agree with Chris. But I dont have an AC600 nor an ES44DC. hopefully they'll be on N Scale plastic soon. I like all the modern diesel locomotives, and all the SD series. Also the Dash 8s and Dash 9s. But I think my favorite is the ATSF E6 set that I got from Life Like.

    Life-Like Little Joe Set

Its an ok runner. Those older LL engines are not the best but they are not the worse. Plus, its a cute little locomotive. It is a little loud, but that goes away after a while. Deffinetly give it a try.

    Help Me With A Dilemma

hey, thats a great idea.:thumb: I used to have enough EZtrack to do a three room layout on my floor. It equaled a total of 7 N Scale miles:D

    " More powerful than a locomotive "

I always thought it was a GS-4 or something similar because of the way the wheels were covered. It was obviously a passenger steam locomotive but Im not really sure. Superman acted as one of the rails to save a train. Maybe he likes trains more than us cause I would NEVER get underneath and act...

    Help Me With A Dilemma

Hey, I say go for it. What is the point of staying with O scale if you arent enjoying it because of your lack of space? You obviously want longer trains, and if O cant give that to you at the moment, try something smaller (N Scale in these circumstances). N Scale is great to work with...
