The loop overlaps in the moutain area. I added the spurs so that I could expand. My plans are for another 3' x 6' section. Haven't quite figured out the format yet.

Cannonball, The plan is basically as they prepared it. If you look in picture #2 on the right back you will notice a spur. This was not in the original plan. I added it for a possible future expansion. Jim

Thanks for your encouraging comments. The layout is 3' x 6'. It was built on a 1 x 2 frame covered with 1/2 inch foam. It is supported on foldidng table legs that will soon be replaced with a more stable wooden frame that is higher. I don't like the "helecopter" view as someone once said...

Thanks for the repiles. Since I am doing the small Scenic Ridge layout, it seems that the EZ Command system would be o.k. This is, until I expand and then I could upgrade. The local train store recommended this system. Thanks again Jim

Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the Bachmann EZ Command DCC system? If so, what is your opinion? I understand they have come out with some additions to it. Would it be a good beginning system?
