    Cheap lumber loads.

I have made several templates for loads on RC 75' Cars if anyone wants them... They are of canadian companies... So far I have Uniforêt, Tembec, CanFor, Kruger and Domtar. I might make a tutorial on how I made my loads. I basically use 1/8" basswood and paper. I cut two pieces of basswood...

GP9RM is here! Now some questions...

Yup... 1015 with a shim on the bottom ... maybe better to use a 1016 if you have sharp curves (10" and lower). prepare to use your patience at its maximum. I spent 2 hours of various swearing and religion-terms using trying to both remove the rapidos and install the MT's.

    A Question about Autoracks

I just saw my first articulated racks today, 2 of them sitting in QGRY's Allenby yard here in Quebec City. I had never seen any before, so I guess they just started showing up on the rails here. I own a single one, looks extremely good, Atlas did a #1 job on these. Each section is actually...

Ran my first train in 15+ years!

I like the trackplan, it's simple and has some operational possibilites, or you can just sit back and watch the train go 'round if you feel like it. Good choice on the engines, the LL units are good buys! Also, you can't go wrong with a Tech II powepack. You could model one big industry...

    Help

I use 99.5% alcohol. You won't find that in a pharmacy. I had my dad order it for me ( he's in the chemical industry ). I guess you could find it in a place where they specialize in chemicals. It doesn't work on every type of paint. I had it remove paint on a model that soaked for 5...
