Maybe we agree on the E and F noses, but that may be because we remember them better. I think if more had been built and stayed around longer, we might be discussing the PA's and FA's Charlie

    real life curve radius

the method of measurement is something to the effect of holding on end of the tape at one point and place the 100' mark at another point on the curve. Measure the deflection from the tape to the rail and multiply by 4 or something to get the deg of curvature. Actually it is way simpler then...

Well Ralph we are actually one up on this. In 2000 Armstrong county had an O scale box car made to celebrate its bi-centenial. We have an old X29 that we painted up to match. It wasn't quite prototype but was real close. would you call this 48/1 scale?

    Death to the coal train?

Ok now if I have this straight ....Global warming will turn to global cooling. We will siphon off the ocean water to burn for fuel and the oceans will drop, the ice caps will reform lowering the oceans even more so we will then have more land to farm, no need to make ethanol out of all our corn...

On the upside, if energy is cheap and clean we can devote our efforts to more constructive things. It will just be the changeover...

I designed the color scheme and she designed the logo. She is also very proud of the morphed train image. I'll tell her...
