    the washers fit around the screw some times I have to file around the bolster nubbin and or drill the washer and I've also just cut the nubbin off!

    What grewsome said get some kd washers they make 2 thickness get both some times i end up using 2-3 washers!!

    Looks like my grand son he was thomas for halloween. he all so has all the DVDs and train sets only 4 yrs old has more locos than pa-pa!!!

    change the 2x4 on the side with the main to a 1x4 ?that way it would be easier to notch out for you switch machine!

    new to this There okay buildings ,I would use liquid glue and a small paint brush be careful with all or any glue fumes. I do not no if any body makes a non-toxic glue for plastic.

    a diagonal brace will go from the top of one leg to the bottem of the other leg on the same side of benchwork. I use 3 inch deck screws 3 on wide side of leg 2 on narrow end.

    use 2x4s for the legs ,be sure to run a diagonal brace, maybe on the tight side you could change the 2x4 to a 1x4.
