    Thats what i was tol that there was extra connections for lights but in the meantime i also found out that acme also has switches that walthers sell that do the same thing so i think i will order one and see if i like it.     Blue foam or foam blues?

    I built my whole layout with the white foam and carved all my mountains and tunnels out of it and painted them and have no trouble i use water based paints. i use the beads as small rock as i just paint them. To each his own but works for me

    Tortise switches

    Does anyone know about these switches you are suppose to be able to hook up light sfor your turnout controls so when the switch is in one postion a light indicates which way its going they are suppose to have extra terminals for lights

    looks like a very good layout to me and as far as your question i don't know anything about it so can't give an opinion thanks for the comments. You can get hooked on this in a big way it seems all we do now is plan to do things to the layout and talk trains I love it wish I got into it years...
