    wooden trestles

Hi belg, Check the-gauge 'acadamy' for an article with pictures by shamus--his plans and templates for HO scale could be reduced for N scale. You could ask via the "Technical " page...he might be able to provide specs for N scale as he has done N scale as well as HO Hope this helps. Virginian

We're all havin' so much fun with the story line in progress, I thought maybe we might try to keep two runnin' silmultaniously!, without getting the two mixed up...or, ummmm.. Attaching insulation board??

Thanks shamus and Rich Rich: no, I'm using a fiber board insulation they call 'sound board' over 't the Home Depot. Pretty heavy, but, as best I can figure, this is what shamus means by 'insulation board'. I do have some Dow 'Blue Styrofoam' to use for elevations: mountains, river canyons...

    Attaching insulation board??

HI y'all... shamus, After a "delay on account of pain" (carpal tunnel injury, left hand/wrist), I've finally got my 4x8 ply supported and ready to attach insulation board, and then, at last, I get to lay some track The question is, since I want to be able to, if necessary, remove the insul...

Hi y'all I've looked through Walther's, but I can't find any N&W cabooses. Not the REAL ones, any way...I mean...N&W designed and built their own, first wood then, starting in , oh, about 1960- or there abouts, steel, that at a distance, look about the same, but with brighter red paint. Does...

    It's Springtime!!

Ok...what about N scale steam? I passed up a Bachman 4-8-4 back a couple of months ago at a reduced price 'cause it wasn't 'my 'Flag'(it was Sante Fe)...Now I know that was kinda dumb...I could have used it for a switcher or local freight engine on the VGN run of my planned layout.. Any body...

    Off the tracks

Here's my list, not all active right now(my canoe's been 'dry docked' since late last summer) Birding, here there and everywhere. I live in the country on the edge of a small City, near a year round pond, and vernal pools: plenty of water birds. And hawks, lots of hawks. Paddling a custom...
