    Robin DR400 Dauphin 4, free, 1:24

My vote would be for the Savoia Marchetti S.55 X. Beautiful 'tween wars Italian flying boat. Almost considered a flying wing. Twin hulls and 2 tandem engines mounted above. Flew from Italy to Chicago If memory serves. There was quite a few planes in this flight. All S.55's.

    Trebuchet 1/25

Just an FYI... What got me interested in Trebuchet's was the TV show, "Northern Exposure". Thet used a treb *twice*. Originally Chris was going to *fling* a cow till he found out Monty Python had done it (did a piano instead). Second time was to *fling* and bury in a lake, a coffin bearing a...

Model Of The Month: The Crooked Tower

Thank you Zanthros. Just trying to be of help when I'm able. It's interesting, I've been downloading models for awhile, but have yet to build *anything*. That may be about to change. U.s.s. Olympia 1898

Olympia to move??? There was an article in the paper in the last week saying that the Olympia may be moved to the San Francisco Bay area. If memory serves, it was built at the Mare Island shipyards near Vallejo, so has a Bay Area connection. Article stated it would be restored and open to the...

Myasischev M-50 "Nuclear powered soviet bomber of doom!"

Just a little more history on that Mig-25 that defected. When they examined the aircaft, they found all the electronics were miniature vacuum tubes. Everyone in the West thought they were so far behind. Then someone realized, that if a nuclear device was set off, all our *solid state*...
