yep, but it was changed when the ship entered normal service on starfleet, as can be seen on STVI. I don't know if this is canon, but I read somewhere that when the transwarp system failed, starfleet decided to put normal naceles on Excelsior, as the design was so good, and put it on service...

Easy, just a section of the borg cube would be enough, with the ships flying over it. Anyway, your original stand is good enough, maybe a new one wouldn't be necessary :thumb:

Hello jwhawk04! I can try to help you, I'm skilled on unfolding things on Pepakura (I still need to post some of my stuff here..., but you can see part of my work here: The MechWarrior 3 Community Project :: View topic - Vulture ).

With Pepakura Viewer you cannot resize the model directly, however, you can use the option "Copy Development to Clipboard" at menu File and there you can reduce the model. You will only need to paste it onto any picture manager program (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.) and work with the parts...
