    N scale How-To's!!

Thanks, folks! I'll see what I can cook up, picture-wise. The close-ups of the bending part of the how-to weren't all that great in detail, but maybe the installation will work better.;)

Did you break an N-scale champagne bottle over the engine's nose before its maiden voyage over your new layout? And BN no less, at the point! U da man!;)

    N scaler painting G scale.....

Very nice, Dave! If I had one to do, It'd become BN 8002.. The Tigerstriped unit. The ONLY SD40-2 to get tigerstripes. I am unsure why the scheme only lasted till '89, when the 8002 once again hit the paint shop, this time emerging with a Whiteface.

Welcome aboard!!! I use Atlas C80 exclusively, *I move a lot, military*and Peco c80 insulfrog turnouts. Peco makes the most bulletproof DCC-ready turnouts money can buy, IMHO. Atlas C80 will allow all but the most crude flanges to work, and like I mentioned earlier, it's bulletproof. When...

Twenty Year Old Buys Amtrak Locomotive

Personally, I'd have to have an F7 in Great Northern Big Sky Blue. Or an F45 in the same scheme... OTOH, I'd like an NP F7 in the 2-tone Lowey greens, A-la North Coast Limited... Or SP&S 700... OK, I'm done... Really!:p

    N scale railroading magazine

Jeff, BNSF uses a pair of H1 Geeps for local, and yard duty. I think that Geep was one of the pair that BNSF stations at Cheyenne Yard. It was just cut in behind road power. OR, it came in with the road power. Granted, this is nothing but a glorified branchline, but last week, I witnessed a...

    4th of July photo fun

In Cheyenne, Where else? That H2 A/C unit behind the Superfleet cab doesn't do the unit justice. Too bad she's so weathered... Last, but not least, the perfect railfan vehicle.... (pic 2, my Dodge Dakota 4x4 washed/waxed, dusty) :D ;) :p  :)
