    Ray, just a thought....... what about using a coarse dark grey ballast and making it a gravel road with maybe some tire ruts that show the brown dirt path you currently have? Don't know how complicated that would be, but I think it would look awesome! Just my 2 cents:D R/ -doc

    I would honestly have to agree with the majority in saying that MR is mainly for beginners like myself. I picked my first one up at the NEX about 4 months ago, and got some pretty good ideas to run with, but I can totally see where the modeller who has been active for years can get bored with...

    Dash10, you are totally correct, but I am modeling a portion of the tokyo / kanagawa metropolitian areas present day. I will definitely keep that idea in mind for my next layout (I have to at least lay the track for my present plan before I can start worrying about structures for my next:( )...
