How far apart are the block signals on a protytype RR, especially the Southern Railway and the NS? I found myself wondering about that the other day and can't find the answer. Michae'

I was checking out my layout after shiming up some track with my heavyweight passenger cars when one of the Rapido couplers broke! :( The "box" that is on the 3 axel truck up and broke. Does anybody know where I can get a replacement? I know that most of y'all don't use Rapidos any more...
