    Cheap and good sanding tools

I found them at the registers in the local Big Lots. I bought two packages so the Spousal Overunit would not be mad at me for taking hers! :thumb: Michael

Finally started laying track on the NSR

Finally got the LPBs back to work today. After many delays, the switches are all in place and the ballast is slowly going down. Plus, there is some greenery starting to grow on Moe Hill! Now I have to let what I've done dry before I can work on it anymore. Since I won't get a chance to work...

    Story of the Feep

Ok, the putty is mostly sanded and it is starting to look like I want it to. I plan to do some more sanding on it later to finish the curve of the roofline (it's mostly done now) and take out the mold line in the F cab. The only problem I had was after the putty dried, it only stuck to the GP...

    Cheap and good sanding tools

I don't know if this has been covered before, but I thought I would pass it on. I am working on filling in gaps on my Feep (What? You havn't read about my Feep? Go ahead and read it, I'll wait... :) ) and I needed something to sand down the putty. While I was at Big Lots today, I saw...

    Story of the Feep

By the way, all the place and road names in my story are true except for the McDonough Shops. In real life, NS has a training center where I would put the shops.... ;) :) Anyway, the bridge construction is true. A major headache made worse by building a bigger bridge. And Vulcan...

    Story of the Feep

Well, right now I am working on my "Feep" in N Gauge. I thought I'd even share a rather crummy picture of the work in progress. I guess it is not too bad for my first try at kitbashing. I need to go get some Squadron Green or simular putty to fill in the gap between the cab and the body. I...

    Story of the Feep

Well, since the original post did not survive The Great Crash of 2004, I guess I'll just have to start it all over again.... -- Bubba Joe "Junebug" Wannamaker was late. He had to get his load of crushed gravel to the DOT bridge construction site for the new Eagles Landing Parkway bridge...

    Train Shows on TV!

Just as an aside, some of the farming and tractor shows could be useful for details on farms for your layout. Check out their website for more. Incredible how useful the "Search" feature on the DISH Network is. I just searched for Trains and found these programs! Michael

Would You Like Fries With That

You know, the Sonics here in Georgia (and in Mississippi where I went to College) are a lot bigger than this. I thought everything was bigger in Texas.... :D OTTH, it looks really great. I have been wondering if anybody out there made one of these. Now I know! Michael
