    Digitrax question...again

Fellas; Another Digitrax question after todays efforts: How do I return the master throttle (DT300) to its original start-up state? Somehow I have become stuck somewhere in a mode that I can't seem to get out of!! I want to clear this mode and get back to step 1. Thanks Eric

    Poor atlas track.

Guys; I have just installed 39 Atlas turnouts. Now that they are bought and installed I am not happy with the rail warpage, the raised frog issue and now you guys are inducating long term electrical problems. This non quality control problem is a major issue and I think MR and RMC should be...

    Poor atlas track.

My experience with Atlas turnouts, is that the frogs are a bit too high versus the ajoining rails. Thus in order to eliminate the rocking of cars through the frogs and the clunk, we file the top of the complete frog until it is level with the tracks. That fixes the problem. However, it is a...

    gapping track

Just for clarification: my dog bone layout is going to be divided into two DCC power sub-sections protected by two Digitrax PM42 short circuit relays. Therefore, it is necessary for me to double gap each set of rails to isolate each section from the other...correct? Further, is it correct...

    locomotive current draw

I am setting up my layout and am running a Spectrum 2-8-0. What I am wondering is, if I am straining the locomotive motor by running up to 18 mixed freight cars! At an average weight of at least 3.5 oz/car x 18 = almost 4 lbs. dead weight to drag. The loco seems to run just fine even up a...

    super elevated track on curves

I would appreciate comments regarding the value of super elavating outside rails on curves. I understand that it can enhance appearence somewhat but have also heard that it can interfer with running of the train especially through turnouts and the like. Is it worth doing?? Thanks
