    MilesWestern's Kitbash #1

Miles, You might try this on your flywheel/crankshaft problem. Many times I've made this work. Pick up some of that white Teflon tape at your local hardware store. Wrap as snug as you can around the shaft and trial fit until it's snug and a small drop of super glue ! The tape centers the...

    NJ international signals

Cab, I'd bet my next pension check that NJ International didn't do that wiring job. I'd bet some one with not much experience did it. There is a wire #32 I believe that is somewhat thicker than carpet thread, that most of us that build, rewire or assemble our own signals normally use. If any...

    Name Game

Well, I like to concentrate on what lies ahead, and not dwell on that which has been left behind, that we can't change anyway . ( Straight-(ahead) ). I Love trains, both real & model ( Track ). Hence, " Straight-Track " . Joe

    Grade crossing bell/gates/flasher detection

3-track crossing protection Espee, I recently installed a 3 track crossing protection system made with Circuitry by " Logic Rails Technologies " . It operates absolutely prototypical. The people at Logic Rail were a great help by designing the photo cell schematics to produce proper...

    Track feeder wires for dummies

Help us guys, are we seeing it differently or what ? The left turnout taken diverging is not reversing direction but transferring the train via a folded figure eight seemingly to Change the direction but continuing on to the original starting point does not . Help, Help, Helphamrhamrhamrhamr

    Track feeder wires for dummies

Harold, I don't want to beat a dead horse but no matter which glasses I wear, the left turnout taken straight will make a complete but folded circle. If the same turnout is taken diverging it makes a crossover to the outside track. Maybe a poll could be taken. This is one heck of a track plan...

    Track feeder wires for dummies

Harold, I agree with Fred, I see no reversing loops as it is drawn now. I'm getting " Old " too ! But age is no excuse ! Joe
