    somebody on here will be able to help you better with this but i can help a little :mrgreen:.most flatcars that were built and used in the fifties are still used today.myself i never really saw a huge difference in FC of the 50's or 90's.id say with sherman tanks (since they were light anyway)...

    the HABS/HAER archives have HUNDREDS of railroad related structures,most of which are american prototypes but some are of CP/CN prototypes.but even at that ,the thousands of industrial drawings thay have could help anyone out.--josh

    Pine trees?

    you can also skewer furnace filter material and dip it in ground foam to make some quick and easy trees.i've used it before and i think its a little better than bottle brush but worse than making them out of wire and rope threads.--josh

    I need a lumber gauge calculator

    there is a totally free rogram i use to turn real measurments into scale ones and 1:87 measuremens into 1:1 its called scalecalc ,google it.its totally free and works fine for me.--josh
