    It's all about class.....

    as les said the C&O engines class went in order.like the 2-6-6-2's which went from H-4,H-5 (which were usra),H-6,then 2-8-8-2's which are H-7 then alleghany's H-8.there are other examples but this is just one that i know well :D.--josh

    that 3 foot reach is still a stretch,i have a 28in reach on my logging layout and i can just barely make it being 6ft tall.my second layout has 3 ft reaches but i do have small access hatches for maintenence and not for operation.you must also take into account that if you CAN reach 3 feet that...

    i have a pretty old athearn GP9 that was custom painted and lettered.i placed it in a consist with 2 new proto 2000 GP-9's and the older athearn is HUGE compared to the newer ones.i never really noticed the size difference unti now.--josh
