My lack of modelling experience makes me a relative 'newborn' to building a working layout. I have so many basics to learn that I am not even considering DCC. The basic model train layout is enough for me. After all, they are NEVER finished are they?:D

I have a micro N-gauge over/under layout on an 18" square and the lesser up-grade is encountered in a counter-clockwise direction.

I would just have to redo as much as needed to accomodate the better idea, regardless of the extra work involved. After all, we do strive toward perfection, as much as possible, in our little empires.:D

Thanks, guys. There is no better place than The-Gauge to get the proper information. My needs at the moment are quite simple and I just happen to have a bit of 20gauge stranded wire available.. Bill:D
