    Track adhesive

I actually have the layout used in the 3rd step from that 4 part series (the actual layout they built up to step 3.. They had 4 different ones) .. I can tell you that using Hot glue for laying your track isn't the best thing in the world.. I wasn't impressed at all with the way they did it...

I've talked with both Digitrax and Con-Cor, something IS strange.. Digitrax noticed some stuff with it.. I'm still waiting for another response from them.. Control panels

If you using twin-coil switch machines, you'll need to use push buttons because you can't give continual power to a coil or it will burn out. You can use 2 push buttons per coil, or DPDT and Push button. (DBDT to change polarity, Push button to energize). If you were to use tortise switch...

    Cork or Foam road bed

2" or 4" Foam (Home Depot, Lows Etc will have 4x8 sheet for around $20.00 for 4"), WS Foam road bed, you can buy it in sheets for the yard too. You can then put it on any table surface you want and EASILY move it later on. Gluing the track down works good too, you can easily pull the track up...

    Cork or Foam road bed

I like foam road bed, But I built my layout on 4" thick foam and simply glued my road bed down. (Which comes up rather easily too without damaging the base or the roadbed. if you use foam tack glue) I'm not sure about using particle board. Particle board is heavy, doesn't hold nails very well...

    Expanded Foam or Newspaper?

Just about done laying my roadbed on my layout.. I need to lay some plaster cloth over some inclines before I can finish, which means I need to build up to my inclines. I'm tempted to use Expanding insulation foam that comes in a can, and spray it along the edge of the inclines to produce a...

    Crossover and roadbed...

Yea, I say those when I was at the hoppy store, started to get a sheet and didn't.. Only bad thing about using the sheets is it doesn't have the nice 45 degree angle on it... So I'm not sure how the banks would look..

    Crossover and roadbed...

That's more along the lines of what I needed to see.. This turnout is basically 2 snap-switches with a 2" track between the turnouts.. So, they're fairly close together.. Thanks, Connor
