    S. FL Rail Museum Train Show - Pictures!

Went to this train show today... had a bunch of vendors and some cool stuff to see! I took some pictures of the layouts there so I will post some of the neater pictures here for all to enjoy! :D And now, in no particular order... I think this one was from an under construction layout in HO...

    Pavement - a neat trick

Great work! Love this technique. Got a question for you... how durable is this when it dries? Do you think I could use this technique for my NTRAK module? Would it survive the hardships of travel?

CHOO CHOO! Nice scene. ;) :D

    Casting a Tunnel Portal

Great How-To, George! I've done this trick before with plaster of paris and cardstock. The plaster soaks the cardstock so it's a one shot deal. Your mold is certainly much nicer! :D

Kitbasher's Diary - Model Power Freight Gepot (N Scale)

Oops looked like I jumped the gun! Really nice work, Charlie. I like how you "hide" things with details rather than go back and repair... you end up with a nicer model with less the effort! :D

    Gauge - Layout Party

My goal is very simple: Finish that Wendy's scratchbuild! :D I'm estimating less than 6 weeks for this project, but I made that mistake with the gas station and it took way more, so I will stick to this for now. :) If I finish it sooner, I will start a new project, like maybe laying the...

    Pictures of Stan's Tanks?

Very cool platform, Charlie! I'm not entirely sure its purpose, but judging by that LPB, it looks like a lot of work is involved! :D

    Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers - N Scale

I take the measurements of what it would be as a square or rectangle and cut that out first. Then I cut out the odd shapes that are missing here and there. Once I've got the exact outline, I then start to test fit it and see where it rubs against the structure... I sand those areas with an emory...

    Gauge Module Sign-up

Yeah, these connector pieces are exclusively for connecting my sub-modules together. Since each individual 2 foot module is pretty much useless without it's companions, I used my own method of connecting them. The ends of the outer sub-modules are standard NTRAK connections - the goal is to make...

    Wendy's Old Fashioned Hamburgers - N Scale

A little bit of progress... The removable roof section is created. Obviously, there will be thingies put on here later on (as soon as I figure out what they are) but it does help to keep the corners square. I've also promed the building white. It helps keep the illustration board from coming...

    what am i doing wrong?

Philip, Check the file properties before you upload it. If the size is more than 70,000 bytes, then the forum will reject it. If that happens to be the case, and you don't have any software to reduce the quality, then you will need to resize it a bit smaller to make up for it.

    The M.A.T. goes mushroom

Brilliant! You can get a long run out of this... is this an extension to your layout or a new one? Do you have a trackplan?

    Griswold Hospital

Yes! Robin, I have been waiting for you to start your next project! Nice! Is there an emergency entrance with the covered roof? About the warping, if you find painting a wall or whatever causes your material to warp, painting the other side will help eliminate this.

    Painting those LPB's

That's great, Guppyman! I agree with Jon, post some pictures please! :) Maybe we can have this be the Unofficial "Meet my Citizens" thread. :D
