    White glueing tabs on cardmodels

Interesting sugesting, but then I in all my building I really do prefer to use a backing piece with no tab. Another idea combining both might be to use similiarlily colored backing pieces

    1/1/ Scale Ships

As promised went back down today and shot some more. For the guys with dial up it might be a little slow as I went slightly nuts. Of the two I went aboard the Brig Niagra was actually more impresive than the Bounty. The Niagra was built as a replica with an eye for modern navigation as it has an...

    Kits For "Never-weres"

Well there is always the Montana Class that was a follow on to the Iowa's and meant IIRC to counter the Yamoto's. Or how about the Rodney as originally designed. http://www.warships1.com/US/USbb67-Montana-LD2.jpg

    Digitals Yamato

Yes, the one that let the "yellow press" push us into a war. I'm starting to like the size of these ships as my "graving dock" is pretty much limited to my 'puter desk space. Plus the color scemes and design oddities make for some interesting models. Too bad the European design houses seem to...

    Digitals Yamato

After something this size I think I'd be looking for something slightly smaller. I just ordered the USS Maine from Lighthouse. How's that on sound. Nice small hull size around 15 inches, unusual design with those main gun turrets on off set positions on the hull and historiclly sinificant too...

Taking up the challenge: Any advice?

With color lasers it is a good idea to seal the surface with some kind if matte or satin finish depending on the type of model. If you were to look at a laser print under magnification it would show up as coloed dots. One advantage of sealing the surface is the solvent in the spray will slightly...

    DNs USS Oregon?

Glen, I resolved the fit problem I had with the aborted attempt. It was the result of using two different printers. At first I thought it might be a failure to print a 100 percent. Something to keep in mind

I'll stick my nose in and vote for the Iowa class. I've been looking for a 1/250 or 1/200 and so far no luck :?
