Hello Dick I'm curious as to why you would change the decoder that comes with your Athearn Genesis, I just got one, and I'm blown away with every opperation, including the sound, I never expected it to sound this good...

IN MY OPINION, THE NEW ATHEARN GENESIS, ARE VERY QUIET, UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE WITH SOUND, THEN THE NOISE IS WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT FROM A PROTOTYPE.
