    What size radius...

will, i intend to run full-size trains (100 cars and up). 30" radius will definitely help to have reliable operations

    What size radius...

as big as possible ! with locos like sd90 i'd recommend 18" as a minimum. tightest curves on my current layout are 15". no reliable operation with long trains. next layout will have at least 30" minimum

    trackplan ogden shops ??

david that's the only one i found so far. unfortunately this is a rather poor view of the tracks. at least not good enough to design a 1:160 copy of the yard. but thank you anyway :-)

    trackplan ogden shops ??

if memory serves right ogden is the large cp shop in calgary. i'd like to build something similar but compressed on my next layout. it should be large enough to hold a few dozen locos without looking overfilled. i really need a place to show some of my 250 or so cp rail locos.... now i need...

    Kato Truck - SD40-2

nope. neither straight nor twisted. kato trucks are not designed to be pulled out. you need to loosen the screws which hold the frames together.spread the frame a bit and the trucks will come out. if you simply pull you will break these tabs again. as mike said, atlas locos occasionally drop a...

New Pulp and Paper Mill at Ottertail

    Kato Truck - SD40-2

if these two tiny black pieces are separate from the truck then you broke off the tabs which hold the truck in place. in that case you have to order a new one.

Peco, Code80 or code55 for yard

i'd stick with code55 as it is the stronger and more reliable track than code80. btw, there are special transition (c55-c80) tracks or railjoiners available from peco.

    Kato AC4400CW on 9" radius

you will definitely have problems on such tight radius. also your trackwork really needs to be perfect. the ac4400 have low-profile wheels and will derail at any imperfection. don't ask how i know....
