The Camera is a great tool, it shows you where you can improve your scenes.
As an example i put forth this little diormam ive thrown together that has many features some of which are unfinished and put in on Purpose.

One note on flextrack-When doing curves it is best to first solder the straight sections together befor laying the track around a curve. by doing this you will avoid a variety of problems.
Just trust me on this one OK :)

While this layout has excellent operations and has well designed trackwork from an operations standpoint, It is poorly designed from an Operators and maintenance standpoint. A trackplan of this caliber could have as many as 6 operators but it might get a bit crowded in that pit ;)

While I am not real fond of the track that has an attached plastic Bed, The Kato is superior to the Bachmann and also more expensive.
I prefer Atlas, Peco and SHinnohara track components on Cork for quiet operation and improved flexicilty of layout options.

I think even if it were not dead you will really like the features of the Tech 4 series .
Momentum, braking etc on the 240 and proportional tracking will blow you away if youve never used anything but a standard power pack. :)
I just ordered the catenary from Model Memories and must find a way to solve the problem of the tracks and wires running into the backdrop. I welcome any suggestions!
