    HMS Savage build

    Talking of wire, telephone cable has really nice core which is quite stiff. If you roll it under a steel rule it goes straight as a die, as do all such wires. You can strip the insulation off, or cut it away , like hydraulic rams, or rings, like clamps. Tim P

    Barry, I'm blushing!! Thanks, glad you liked the site! Swinger, I use Daler-Rowney Gouache paints to touch up the edges of my models. Water clean-up, 6 colours including black and white which can be intermixed, dries quickly and matt finish. Use diluted for a wash effect. £5.00 bough a set...
