Talking of wire, telephone cable has really nice core which is quite stiff. If you roll it under a steel rule it goes straight as a die, as do all such wires.
You can strip the insulation off, or cut it away , like hydraulic rams, or rings, like clamps.

Swinger, I use Daler-Rowney Gouache paints to touch up the edges of my models. Water clean-up, 6 colours including black and white which can be intermixed, dries quickly and matt finish. Use diluted for a wash effect. £5.00 bough a set...

Ah, circle cutters..... I have several, but the little black and yellow Olfa device is still the best of those I have used. Anyone else found any that were actually useful? I have tried several designs that were not very good at all....
