On the track thats going along the back can you make that into a incline , I think you have plenty of length for a 2% grade? The indudtry thats stuck in the back won't that restrict your scenery. Don't mind me I'm into differnet elevations , it breaks things up more. One last thought and I'll...

Good news I got a coat of blue on the walls, ( I was quite happy looking in the train room the next morning I couldn't beleive what even a bit of blue did) .I may have gone down just a bit low but I think it should be ok on the next step when I coat the lower what looks like white with white...

I got the 4-6-4 #5335 and the PRR K4 #3751 4-6-2 both have Quantum sound and run like a top out of the box :thumb:

I don't use a spray box because I'm just using dollar store paints. Its hard to describe ratio for thinning all I can really say is the consistancy of 2% milk , and yes that was 2% sign1

So would a blog replace our layout progress threads :wave:

The reason for consistency of milk is it tends to not spit out the paint compared to a nice mist.Trust me I really no nothing about air brush painting my buddy who is an artist and has been using an airbrush for at least 25 years gave me the starter course. As for floquil paints I have the...

Are you sure the grade isn't greater than 3% , my 2-6-6-2 bachman had at one time pulled up a 3% no problem. Is it possible the track is just a bit slick, maybe go over it with a 600 grit wet . :wave:

No need to learn any programs basicly you just have to get your radius's on the track calmed down a bit to where it'll work. You may in fact have to get some flex track and prop it in place and try it to see how it looks in real life. Pictures and drawing don't always do justice.:wave:

Wow Ron you and your 4 year old daughter should be very proud of the great job with the back drop. Just between you me and the cloulds I think your daughters cloud came out the best.This really helps me out alot. Once I get the blue done ( now knowing I should only go half way down the wall )...
