    Its Monday 1-16-06, Weekend modeling accomplishments!

    I got most of the track I previously tore up back down, today I'm going to try to get some temp track down along the back of the layout so I can run trains again and did a little more work to the GVR loco I'm painting.

    Try reading cv29 it shouldbe set at 36 or 38 that would be 4 digit add. @ 14 or 28 speed steps.

    Hi Colin To answer your first question the PA will read back any decoder. I only have Digitrax decoders and have no problem reading the, make sure that your programg track is clean and the wheel sets are clean I had that as a problem when trying to read/write before.     Hi Colin, try resetting the decoder in the offending locos. cv08 008, if this doesn't work let me know. I had one loco do something similar.

    New DCC Systems

    I've been running the PA for about 7mos. on an N gauge layout real close to the size you're building. I usually run 2 SD-50's, 2 SD-35's, and do some switching with a GP-38, I don't really have any complaints with it. The Yard Mode is a real neat feature for switching.
