    Along the right o' way...

I don't remember exactly when I started. My best guess would be about 18 months ago. I took a break from car construction this past summer to work on some other things, so I still have around 10 more to go before I have finished what I originally planned. Of those at least 5 will be additional...

    Along the right o' way...

Thanks for the compliments, guys. As I said before in another thread, I had fun trying to find new angles and settings to photograph the train and individual cars. It was an interesting "challenge." :)

    Along the right o' way...

I don't mind at all, jon. I'm 9' 2-3/4" tall. And no, I didn't play basketball. The ball was too small for my hands and no fun to play with. ;)

    Along the right o' way...

I was doing some model railfanning along Millers Creek (as well as some fishing in the creek below) when the Osage Valley's old work train rumbled by. I barely got back up the creek bank and to the right of way in time to snap this shot. :D

    MDC two truck Shay

Hi, Drew, I bought MDC's 2-trucker back in 84 shortly after they first released the kit. I waited several years to put it together, and I'm glad I did because most of the replacement items came out in the interim. I really like how mine turned out once I did assemble it. It looks good, and...

    First DPM building completed

Screwysquirrel, you did a nice job with the mortar and weathering of your brickwork. And congratulations on finishing your first structure. The first one is almost always the hardest one. Enjoy it, but learn from it also. :)

    More Plaster added.

Paul, I have to agree with Pete. O scale certainly does seem to agree with you. Your scenery is shaping up very nicely, and the structures are up to your usual high standards. Very nice indeed!

    At the watertank

OVT&L's little "water bobber" was dropped off at the tank for refilling. It and the sand car will be picked up later in this morning and hauled back to the woods.

    On the Siding

Thank you for the very nice words, everyone. I know some of you have seen the cars before, but I had a lot of fun putting them in "new" settings and rephotographing them earlier this week. I've got a few more I'll post in the near future. :)
