good morning all 5" of snow and still more on the way.

I went to the local modelrr clubs open house today not really having time to join in the past I am considering joining the club. It is housed in the basement of an old freight house. I think this would be a great place to get ideas when building my layout. Here are some pictures off their web sight.

I already have a front loader. The big problem is the sewer rate is twice the water.

My electric bill runs $145.00 a month and my gas is $100.00 a month. I might try cfl's just see if I can cut the electric bill down. The water and sewer bill is the killer it is $120.00 a month, the kids must be taking to long of a shower.

I plan on finishing the inside of my new garage and get started on my layout.

Chief I would gladly give you some of the 6" of rain I got yesterday. My basement fix seemed to work well as there was no water. The rain yesterday was about as good of test as I'm going to get.:mrgreen:

cedar creek runs near where I live and it sounded like a good name for a railroad.

I have been busy with running kids to baseball & soccer. The new home for the cedar creek rr was started today. The footer was poured & the foundation will be set tues. It took them two months to get to me, but things should go real fast now. So if I am lucky benchwork will begin in the middle...

Had a 2 hour school delay today and it is currently snowing. We won't have a delay tommorrow it's an inservice day for teachers. I bet I learn alot about safety tommorrowsign1 love the inservice presentations.
