    Wespe?

AF is correct. the wespe (wasp) is the 105mm on a mk II chassis. the hummel (bumble bee) is a 150mm on a modified mkIII chassis (mk III wide, mk IV long). the nashorn (rhinocerous) shares the same chassis but is armed with the 88mm. i am not aware of any of these in the scale you seek.

    DN's Admirable

wire wrap? good thinking. i use coiled wire to simulate coil springs. with a paper clip in the middle, one can fashion a realistic macpherson strut.

    paintings and photography

very nice... ...i like that large photo posted. you could even put a ship model there, along the dock.... it is a great way to present models without having to do the whole diorama assembly thing. good results can be achieved in the non-fiction realm as well. "green screening" and old fashioned...

What is the best for paper AFV's scale

1/72......... .......of course i'm going to say 1/72. this has to do with my philosophy on art in general. i prefer my creations have more purpose than just display and so their use for war games is an obvious one. there are many sets of plastic soldiers available in this scale and you can even...

    M3A2 Halftrack FLY #22 - a warning

i've been waiting... ...for the completion of your project. extra parts, eh? it is always good to know about errors/quality of costly models. sometimes it could be the modeler but your fine photos rule that out. thanks for sticking with it. cheers, c.b.

    The moderator squeeks

response to jrts... ...when you mentioned negative review content for free models being a bit much.....and then mentioned your "two cents", i thought it may be a press release from the ministry of funny walks. (activate laughing box) actually, there are so many free models out there, some...

    Modelik Panzer IV Aust G

i like your score card. it would be interesting to see how this model compares to the free version here. http://www.pluto.dti.ne.jp/~naka/ honest opinions regarding models are more important to designers than one may think. consumers like it too. great job. c.b.

Why do you build card models

why build? i build and design for war gaming. that is how i started. as a youngster, my dad would buy me only one plastic model a month. i was pretty hard on them. i found i could have as many as i could build for my forces when built (mostly) from cardboard.
