I just completed a full 4 weeks and at least 10 substantial posts! I guess I'm officially part of the community. Thanks to all, and I'm of to the resources to find my next build... Well, when I'm finished with Shunichis Gunwalker model.

I'm ordering the Millennium falcon to build for my son. He recently got into Star Wars. It looks like fun building these, and I think I know what Zathros is saying. It's an intricate build, but lacks in sleekness of a card model. It appears very crude. I guess I'll find out, though.

It's been slow going lately, but I was able to put some time in today. I stopped by the craft shop and picked up a new glue applicators and scoring apparatus.

The Russian really does look cooler...But, both models are a work of art. Very good craftsmanship. There is not enough time in the day!

Cool! I'm just waiting for my month to expire so i can get to the real good builds. "Silent Running" is a good movie. I showed it to my kids and they loved it. I'm surprised I'm only recently hearing about it.

Yeah, the white line is something that always bothered me. I'll try the tab-less method on my next build. The Gunwalker is taking longer than I want it to, but, I also don't want to rush it. I really like how it's turning out.

Now, I'm more interested in Rhino tutorials. The booleen options are fantastic! In my short time using it, I can see the potential it has for better modelling I couldn't do in Meta.

Is there enough people out there running version 4 for updated tutorials? My main interest was anguwrap; A feature that was released in v.4. To be honest, I started learning Rhino. And will probably dedicate most of my efforts with this program.

I was able to put in a little work today. I glued "Body - 6" part upside down, but, didn't realized until it was too late. So, I did the same to the other one for symmetry. Now, back to studying...

This time, I'm working on Shunichi's Gunwalker model. This has to be the most detail model I have done yet. But, it looks like a fun build, and I'm excited to see it finished. First pieces complete! The Cockpit, finished!
