    HO Turntables

Hey guys, I like the Peco turntable, it is not too european. I am looking at the 90 foot range. My Areotrain and Zephry are from my growing up in Chicago and seeing them both face to face. Thanks for the tip on the Walthers, I have noticed the need to fuss with the kits before.

    MRC Prodigy Express Questions...

I have the express and I am loving it, it is so cool and intuitive. It does everything I have asked for it to do except turn the Turbo and the Areo train but I have stage left for that.

    HO Turntables

I am in the process of laying track, code 100 w/ #6 turnouts and I am looking for options for a turntable. I do have MRC DCC and like it. Most of my rolling stock is vintage 1940-1950. But then there is the Zephyr, the Areotrain, and the turbo.

    How To Use Flextrack

Just a note, when you spike your track and get the result you want, and then ballast w/ white glue or matte medium; the track and road bed become one and are solid.

    new siding

Hi there, I might change up some switching to make life an challenge, as for flat and profile scenery there is a ton on good stuff out there which with some detail and lamination to foam core can look real sharp. If you are like me, that makes backrounds easier, I am a lousy scene painter just...

    Virtual view of Zepher

It is good to see the Pioneer all spiffed up. It used to be outside and was a home for feral cats. Check out the Yankee Clipper if you get the chance. I am just nuts about classy passenger trains. I had the chance to sleep on the "Chief" and the Capitol Limited, rode a B and O RDC to...

    Constructing an university in H0

You know the Walters Main Store would work too. I might be tempted to kit bash a little. Also for those who wait, I finally found a real life connection between the Baltimore and Ohio and the New Haven, so both on a small pike is credible.

    Small layouts -- how small?

Good point, six foot curves - sweet! my plan has to include large radii for passenger equipment to look good and move well. The other bonus is the abiltiy to take down a section at a time, work on it and put it back in place. I have just about eliminated the duck under problem by keeping the...

    Small layouts -- how small?

Hey folks, After a false start and a real wet basement, I am getting back on track. Since I like to see trains run, love passenger equipment and have no space, I have opted for a shelf system style around the room pike. It is only 2 foot wide but as it runs about the room the curved are 30"...
