Digital Navy V-108 1:200 scale version

Real good job. Working with a larger scale on a smaller boat helps with the details. Did you cut your own ribs and keel, using the model pieces as templates? Looks like you pre-drilled for the handrails. Thanks for the step by step, helps me with my shipbuilding. P.S. not Gator Navy but a...

Titanic 1:400 JSC amended full hull.

That is way cool how you did the ladders. You make the model look like a museum piece. Same method for the railings? If you have them, a couple of pictures would help this novice. Thanks,

Digital Navy V-108 1:200 scale version

Your hull looks real good. I did this one in the 1x250 version (waterline ver.) I was o.k and my first build. So it might have been me but I thought some of the pieces didn't quit make it. I want to do it over now that I have Some experience. Again, your's looks great. P.S. your sig block...

    HMS RODNEY my Kitchen

They look great. You can really tell a difference in the three ships when looking at them bow on. From they're starboard sides, the US cruiser doesn't appear to be all that much smaller. Ya, and the kitchen looks good too.

Titanic 1:400 JSC amended full hull.

WOW Very Nice. For a 1x400 scale, it has some great detail and looks like you have done an excellent job. Gonna have to get me one now. I like how you did the hull plating. Good thinking. Where do you buy your railings or did you make them yourself? Thanks,

    JSC Three-fer

If any one is interested in merchant ships, the JSC kit 41 has three fer one. Below are a few pics of the Czech. I've also completed the Oliwa. Also included but not yet started is the Pekin. These are in 1x400 so not as many details but for quick satisfaction, they're a nice, quick build...

    HMS Invincible (JCS)

Update and comment Oh yippee - a corrected hull. That would be a no, went with what I got. I'll just be sure to show the good side. Didn't figure on there being one. Yes, paper railings. I tried to make my own on a previous build. What a mess it turned out to be. Got fairly decent with...

Le Courbet French battle cruiser from Modelik

Lookin real good. I second the motion that you used your vegatibles well. I wouldn't want to be in the forward deckhouse when those mid ships main gun mounts shot forward.

    HMS Invincible (JCS)

So here are some pics of the Invincible. Kinda going slower than I'd like but it's working out well. As ships go, its not the most weird but it was different. All the parts are coming together good, no problems there. You'll notice (maybe) that I didn't back my decking with extra board. I...

    HMS RODNEY my Kitchen

Looks awesome. I have some novice questions though. The use of balsa, 2mm board has me stumped. I understand the concept but I don't seem to grasp the execution. I did poor with word problems way back in my school days so the more detail the better. I'm guessing there is a thread in the...

    Civil War Ironclad Source(s)?

You can also go to "Hobby Factory" who is up in Canada. He has most of the Paper Shipwright military vessels in stock. I completed the Viginia and if I can manage to download pics correctly to this site, I'll put in a few this weekend. It came out pretty neat by the way.
