A 22" curve will fit on a 4x8, but it would easily fall off, you would have alomst no clearence to the edge. I would reccomend having a barrier of some sort to block trains from falling to the floor

Yes, i'm pretty certain that they would handle 22" curves well. Heck, i reckon you could put them on 20" curves

I would give my vote to Atlas and Atheran, Athearn is a major component of this hobby, just about everyone has at least one Athearn, while there not the greatested, there good and bulletproof Atlas is pricey, yes (To a 14 year old), but my SD24 is excellent, and i like the speeds it runs at...
