    Good for you Ray, and for your wife, that helps them take their mind off where they are. I don't know about your wife but they tend to get bored after awhile as we look and search, just like I get bored when they shop and take forever. Glad you found some deals.:thumb:

    It's Monday 3-13-05, Weekend modeling accomplishments

    Let's see: For what I planned I didn't get too much done. Fri. after work I went a met with a fellow modeler and did some swapping, picked up 7 engines. By the time I got home I had been up 24 hrs so I laid down for a nap and well I was tired-:sleeping: , didn't get up til 2am 12 hrs later...

    What do ya'll think of these wheels?

    Any equipment from the 50's on will use the flat back, as for size 33" for 70 ton & less cars, 36" for 90 ton & above except the 125 ton cars which used 38" wheels. Simply put, any questions, ask. To determine the ton rating look at the CAPY on the car data & divide by 2000 i.e. 140000 lbs...

    Model Power Sf Metaltrain

    With the weight and being all metal it will resonate sound more, but I get that with metal wheelsets on my plastic cars. Check to make sure you have the rail in the joiners, I 've overrode them with EZ Track before and didn't know it because it locks together, you might have some high joints...
