Shay... when? Okay, these poor Shays have been sitting in a box for the last couple of months, so now you know why I chose my user name. They've been assembled and test run a little, but now that a colour scheme has been decided, it's time to get them ready to work.

So this is my first try with the black shadows. I agree with whomever said to drybrush with white before adding colour. I didn't do that with the guy on the left and I'll be redoing his sweater. The lumpiness on the leg of the lady in purple is from not taking the time to smooth some rough...

My train resolutions... - get all the platforms and scenery around Auggy Station done - get the Shays painted and running - put more thought into starting an N scale module... or two... shaywen
