    No sweat....a little adjusting, a little photo checking and every thing came out. I didn't have the scope pushed down on the shaft yet or rocked back at the proper angle. But after all that every things good to go. Moving on to the aft bulk head. Thanks Scott for the pics, these will help...

    Houston....we have a problem. Seems the scope ond instument guage sit too far back. I haven't formally mounted these with the setting block in the files, we'll see waht happens after.

    OK P.K this ones for you You are right, as I put this together I knew this photo was too high of a shot for this capsules altitude. The more I looked at it the more I didn't like it, I would have left it, the only ones that appreciate these mods are people on this forum, no family or friends...

    A good paper hardener I have found is super glue, but you'd need a 55 gallon drum. I can't wait to see the pics of the main. Speaking of getting it out of the room, who was the auto maker that built the first car and had to knock out the wall of his garage to get the car out....I think it was Ford.

    WOW....That thing is huge. Outstanding. One thing I havent figured out, it's suposed to be an excape hatch, but looking at the capsule interrior it seems the pilot would need to remove the teliscope and intrument pannel to access it. Better not be in a hurry to excape.

    This is the first I've used black paper, I had to reprint each page three times to get the graffics to be good and visable, also the black cardstock isn't as ridged as the white, had to double up several pieces. My daughter put into words what I was thinking while building the outer...

    Really cool...the M60 brings back memories, I was a mechanic on the M60 in the army...12 cylinder, air cooled, twin turbo. The engine alone was as big as our chrysler pacifica.

    Progress Trimming out the main, nowhere did I find in the parts pages the brackets for the bottom ring...so I made some. So far the main without antenna faring it measures 19" high 171/2" in diameter. Currently working on the escape hatch, held off on gluing in the front bulkhead ring untill...
