Good evening everyone, I was just curious to know how many of you plan to attend the "World's Greatest Hobby" train show in Houston,Texas this coming January 7th - 8th. I've only ever been to one other train show (back in 2002 I believe it was) so I'm REALLY looking forward to this particular...
Let's see, I grew up in the General construction field (residential) and I did that for roughly 15 years. I know currently work at a spark plug factory.....in the machining department.:D
That really is great camera work! You feel like part of the scene with the train passing you by. Also that train is superbly detailed.... very nice attention to detail with weathering.:eek:

I guess I'll just end up buying a variety of Atlas track and play with the layout to get it where I want. Hobby Lobby this week has all of thier train sets and train accessories on sale for 50% off.....so that's why I was anxious to get the layout...

Herc, I've often thought over the years about using sheetrock/drywall for rock faces... I'm hoping to incorporate a small area on my layout for rock facing......so I may try using Drywall as well ;)
