    F unit control stands

AT&SF F7 #335 I'm going to have to do some surgery on the following posts. I will split them in half with a bit of overlap and you can put them back together on your computer if you want (Files are too large).

    F unit control stands

Ralph - I've found a few photos of the insides of E&F units and I'll post what I've got. I may have to crop down the larger ones, but I'll try to save any detail. Also, I don't own the copyrights to any of these, so I can't give permission for reproduction.

    a shot for shamus

Hmm.. That must be the ultra-rare convertable-top Shay. If it's getting hot, just put the ragtop down for some fresh air and a faceful of soot!;)

    Speaking of trees #2

Drew, They look like Lodgepole Pines to me. A long, straight trunk with clumps of foliage alternating with bare spots. Looking good!

    Burning your bridges?

Only once. Better be an outdoor layout, too. It doesn't what scale the rolling stock is in, just make sure your fire extinguisher is 1:1.

    working on web page

You have to type the address into the 'Open webpage' window manually. The autolink isn't working. Rich, I think when you typed in the address, you did it in the 'description' field, which pops up first after clicking on the 'http://' button. The actual address goes in the second window where...

    Denver Rio Grande

If you're into Nscale, Lifelike is releasing the 2-8-8-2 soon. I have an undecorated model reserved with some DRGW decals ready! Also, Intermountain is releasing the EMD FT in DRGW colors at some point. They're basing the painting priority on the number of reservations received per road name...

Looks to be promising. Are you going to feature or specialize in anything? (ie: Your layout pictures, sound clips, prototype photos)?

    New locomotives from Intermountain

IM announced today on the Atlas Forum (and supposedly in the N-Scale Railroading magazine in the mail right now) that they are working on a new production runs of SD40-T2s, SD45-T2s, and SD45-2s. No formal details, but roadnames should include DRGW, SP, UP, CanPac, and others. Now if in-house...

    Loco Comments

I presume you're familiar with the Spookshow website? He's taking a hiatus from model RR'ing, so the brand new stuff isn't listed, but it's still a good info site. http://www.visi.com/~spookshow/locos.html

    Couple/Uncouple N Scale

There is another option too. Atlas has started to sell their magnetic coupler in singles for about $2.50 to $3 each. They had a couple of problems when they first introduced the coupler, but it looks like they've been fixed. M/T has the larger selection of truck styles, but if you plan on...

    Thimblewood Creek Siding

I hope those poor guys were wearing helmets! Or at least they had good life insurance. You could place a scale-sized skeleton near the wreck, just to see who's really paying attention! Might cut down on the amount of return visitors though...

    Makin' History!

OK, so it may not be that important, but we just set another online record as I speak, err... type! Now all I need to do is run around to a couple more of these vacant computers to really raise the bar!;)

Robin, was this photo taken recently? I noticed the GP30 and I didn't think that BNSF still had them around.

    Model Power 4-6-2 Pacific

The Riv. 0-8-0 is the exact same model as all the Atlas 0-8-0's floating around on Ebay. Atlas had RR make some for them and then discontinued the line. RR then started their own production at a much higher MSRP. You can usually find the Atlas locos on Ebay for under $35.
