    Our local science museum has a wonderful train layout with several different scales. They have a loop dedicated to Thomas. My son however, had to go to the desk and tell them they were running Clarabel backwards... LOL I think that unless you are demo-ing a layout for a specific era or...

    Has anyone ever scratchbuilt a water mill or windmill

    thats a good idea too... The whole thing got me to thinking about something like a wheeled filter that hangs over the top of an aquarium... maybe robbing it of its mechanism as long as it doesnt have to be water cooled. You guys are great for ideas! :)
