    Pictures of your Z scales

They did, but I don't really like there product line, apart from the american steam engines. I'm simply not that fond of F7's :)

    Pictures of your Z scales

I'm planning to get a lot more but they're very expensive for me. It's going to take ages before I would have my collection complete. To bad there are not many brands to chose from. Micro Trains is going to release gp40's in Z-Scale. American Z Lines and Micro Trains are the only ones who...

They're made by American Z Line, you can view all there models on www.ztrack.com They have an awesome selection! All engines are made out of brass. I payed $550 USD for each SD45 ;) Around July AZL wants to produce SD70's with a plastic cover to reduce costs. Those will cost around $250 USD.

    Progress in the Z-shelf

Hello fellow Z-scale modeler! :D Very nice layout! I have a question if I might ask: Why did you take the metal covers off the switches? Oh wait!, I checked out your site and I see you turned them up side down, great methode to hide them! :)

    I'm a little mixed up

Hehe that's true, but I'm glad the main tracks look good and I can lay them down this way. Everything arround it might change a little. A big thanks to all the people who helped me! :D

    I'm a little mixed up

Good one Charles, I didn't thought of that yet. The first AD track became a bit shorter but that's not a major issue. It created a good space for a switch tower. I think I got the final version! What do you guys think? :D Cyan = Arrival and departure tracks Yellow = Caboose track Purple...

    I'm a little mixed up

I think I got it! The outermost turnouts have their straight legs for the main line now. I also replaced the caboose track, it's between the yard and RIP track now. What do you think? Cyan = Arrival and departure tracks Yellow = Caboose track Purple = Yard lead Blue = Repair in place...

    I'm a little mixed up

It has been a while now, does no feedback mean good feedback? :) Please, anybody, say the trackplan is good so I can start building it.

    I'm a little mixed up

Thanks for all the feedback again! :) I haven't told you guys everything. This is a Z-scale layout. The table is 250cm long (98,4 inch). I do want to run DCC on it. It's not for a club. I think the new yard lead (drill track) is ok. I would like to keep it that way. The caboose track on...

    I'm a little mixed up

Thanks for all the feedback! I tried to pay attention to every comment but it's really hard. This is the new legend: Cyan = Arrival and departure tracks Purple = Caboose track Purple = Yard lead Blue = Repair in place track Green = Run around Red = Yard I tried to add a yard lead and...

    I'm a little mixed up

Below you see the plan for my main module. I'm trying to keep things as compact as possible. The legend: Cyan = Arrival and departure tracks Purple = Caboose track Blue = Repair in place track (poorly visible but it's at the left of the caboose track) Green = Run around Red = Yard The...

    My Z-Scale SD45

Great news folks! :) I recieved all the roadbed I need for my modules! Right now I have enough MT flex track to finish both arrival/departure tracks at the first modules. If I succeed in finding some time this week then I might weather the new switch and lay some track. Hopefully I can post some...

    My Z-Scale SD45

Thanks LiveSteamer :) Matthyro, the curved switch on the first picture cost me $32 usd. The regular switches on the other pictures cost me $45 usd each, the local hobby shop is pretty expensive. :(

    My Z-Scale SD45

Ok, I got my camera back and took some pictures. Unfortunately I'm missing the data cable to download pics from the camera towards pc. :( Fortunately I have a TV card in my pc and I managed to hook the camera on it. I was able to make screenshots of the TV image I got from the camera. The...

    My Z-Scale SD45

I bought those trees from Zthek, they're underway! I wonder how good they'll look :) Last weekend I went to another model railway event and I bought a switch for the first module, now I have all the tracks I need for the arrival and departure tracks. I have some eye candy for the fellow...

    My Z-Scale SD45

I haven't converted any locomotives yet, I'm going to wait with that untill the first modules are done. I did find a suitable decoder, the Uhlenbrock. You have to sand of the sides to make it fit. I've been told that theres another suitable decoder with special light functions that might...
