    Catlitter balast?

Hi, Michael, I use the sand they have for sand art at an Art Supply store, there are a number of colors and I actually mix a few together. It is also cheap, about $1.20 a 1LB bag. It is usually in the children's section. I have tried kitty litter and didn't like the color. Woodland Scenics I...

    Glueing blue insulation foam

I personally use white glue, one thing I have been doing is making a few scores in the foam to get the glue to "bite" but that still takes overnight to dry.

    wallpaper paste

I used to use this technique, but like Shamus says it takes awhile to dry and you need alot of layers. I have found plaster gauze works much better and if you go to a medical supply store is realatively cheap.

    telephone pole distance

I would have to agree with Vic. Sometimes it is better to space them so they look right as opposed to exact prototypical locations. I have seen them in real life at many different spacings anyways.

Help, my ground cover is too green.

What I do is sprinkle many layers of different colors of green, a little medium green here, dark green there, light green, dried grass, etc. None of them even. And like Shamus said the first layer is just the starter, after about 8 layers you will be much happier!

    Cardboard Mock-Ups Part 2
