Thanks. The bubbles are a pain to assemble....but my procrastination has to end. I need to finish this model before Mass Effect 3 come out next month. Otherwise I will write this project off for a month.

Thanks for the input, guys. There are a lot of options online, unfortunately for the 1 1/8" size that would work, you have to buy in bulk......like 1000 pieces. My daughter told me to look at gum ball/toy machines. I will check out Hobby Lobby.

Ok, not the biggest update. I painted the cut lines and added a few "overlap" parts. The globe turrets are a real bugger. The transparent parts work, but detract from the model. I have been to a couple bead shops and searched the web, but have not been able to find 1 1/8" clear beads/globes. Any...

Yep, I use what they suggest. Mainley try to find a paper glue that dries clear.

Water color paints work well due to filling in the folds, and then can be feathered into the rest of the parts.......try not to feather over portholes.

Looking good! When it is complete, you will enjoy coming back through the thread and look back at the history of your model in pics.

If I were you, I would start a squeaky clean new build thread for your RJ. More individual reference material for future RJ builders.

Roger, the parts should look something like this. Also, very important, so your "wedge supports" fit between your launch bays, glue the launch bays at least 3 3/8" (inside measurement). Other wise you will have to glue the wedge supports below the launch bays....like I did.:curse:
