    clouds I air brushed polly scale reefer white on to the wall, using stencels cut from heavy card stock. Then added shadows of earth, concrete, and csx tan (all from polly scale). Last I misted over the whole cloud a touch of white. The base color of the wall is flat Olympic Brand paint...

    look into led's . you can get them in all different sizes and collors.

    :cry: the gfi probably triped from the moter load on the pump and not a short. if you remove the gfi and put in a single recptical with an in use cover in it's place it should not trip and will still meet code.:thumb:

    Steamtown?

    :wave: yes it 's dieseli powered, I beleave it's the reading and northern . they also service a few coal mines,cement plants, and a brewery or two. have fun.

    :cool: if you have the time stop in at jim thorpe pa . it,s just off rt209 on the west bank of the lehigh river in carbon county. you casn see the old cnj station there and take a train up the lehigh on former l.v.+cnj tracks.

    Just for fun, how strong is your engine?

    I built a engin for just this test, it's an SD 90mac in ho that uses 2 athern moters ,a nwsl re gear kit,and weighs just over 2and 1/2 lbs. I have not put it to a draw bar test ,but it did bend the rails on a turn out when it derailed on a club layout.

    the cnj moved a lot more coal than that every day for almost 100 years.

    locomotive current draw

    the motor should draw no more than an amp. touch it every so often to see if it is hot. if its to hot, drop a few cars. you can cook it if it stays cool

    :thumb: thats a varney drive so it might run , if it doesnt, melt it down as ballast foir a brass engin.
